Retreats
Each year our Guild organizes two retreats for our members to get together for a weekend to quilt and socialize. We produce wonderful quilted items, have lots of fabulous food, star gaze, watch videos, go for walks by the ocean and just relax.

All our Retreats are held at the beautiful Oyster River Resort.

“Quilting is not a matter of life & death, it is more important than that” “Every event in life is a quilt waiting to happen” Mary Lou Weidman

Workshops
Workshops for all skill levels run throughout our quilting year. Guild workshops are held at the Masonic Lodge, 2905 Island Highway, Campbell River and usually start at 10:00 a.m.

A diverse range of programs and specialty classes are offered to meet the varying skill levels and interest of the members.

Registration for all classes is at the monthly meeting, before the meeting starts and during the break. The fee for the class is payable upon registration.

Non-members can take workshops, provided that there is space available. They pay an extra fee.

Quilt Shows
Quilt Shows are events our Guild has been pleased to present.

Part of the fun of quilting is showing off your work, and looking at the work of others. Our Guild has hosted four quilt shows since our inception. The first show was in 1997 at the Campbell River Museum with around 50 quilts shown. The second show was in 1999 at the Catholic Church Hall and the number increased to around 200 quilts shown. Our third and fourth quilt shows in 2002 and 2005 had around 300 quilts shown, which was a tremendous effort by our 50 members.

We encourage all our quilters to bring their quilts for showing no matter what skill level they are at. Our categories range from beginners, large and small quilts and accessories.

There are raffle quilts, merchant malls and some quilts for sale. Check out the photos from our past quilt shows by clicking on the links.
