Artist Statement: Echoes of our summer sailing experiences. Silently passing through the waters of the inner coastal passages one can hear the echoes of the Orca as they breach the ocean's surface to take a breath. Inspired by a photograph I took the first time I encountered these magnificence creatures in the Wild. As they powerfully move through the water, they unbelievably convey a feeling of peace and gentleness - giving me momentary hope for a better non-violent world.
